First time visitors may want to start with the "What is Rhetoric?" page, which offers definitions of the term from noted scholars, philosophers, and politicians. Next, browse the Top 100 Speeches section, featuring audio files and text transcripts of the most significant political speeches of the 20th century, such as the "I Have A Dream" speech, and FDR's Pearl Harbor address. In addition, the site contains a continuously updated database and index of more than 5000 speeches (audio files are available in many cases), as well as thematic collections on September 11th, religious rhetoric, political convention speeches, movie speeches, speeches by Native Americans, and other subjects.
